FAQs

Your appointment is a private, one-on-one experience with a dedicated stylist at the Danielle Frankel New York Atelier or Los Angeles Boutique.

How long is a bridal appointment at Danielle Frankel?

A bridal appointment at Danielle Frankel is approximately 60 minutes. Your stylist at the Danielle Frankel New York Atelier or Los Angeles Boutique will dedicate this time entirely to you in a private room.

How many guests can I bring to a bridal appointment?

Brides are welcome to bring up to two guests to their Danielle Frankel appointment. The experience is private, it will be just you, your guests, and your dedicated stylist.

What should I wear to a bridal appointment?

We advise wearing flesh-colored, seamless underwear to your Danielle Frankel bridal appointment so you can fully appreciate the construction and detail of each wedding dress.

How far in advance should I start shopping for a wedding dress?

Danielle Frankel advises brides to begin the bridal process 10–12 months before their event date. Production timelines for made-to-order wedding dresses vary by garment and are listed on each product page. We reccomend holding an additional 2–3 months for alterations following production. If your timeline is shorter, contact the atelier at atelier@daniellefrankelstudio.com. Shorter timelines may be possible and may incur rush fees. Appointment bookings are available up to 90 days in advance. For availability beyond 90 days, contact the Danielle Frankel studio directly.

Is there a fee for a bridal appointment at Danielle Frankel?

A $150 consultation fee is collected at the time of booking a bridal appointment at Danielle Frankel. Following your appointment, this fee applies as a credit toward any wedding dress purchase. A maximum of two consultation fees may be applied as credit toward a purchase. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 48 hours in advance to receive a refund. Late cancellations and no-show appointments result in forfeiture of the fee.

Can I customize an existing Danielle Frankel wedding dress?

Yes, Danielle Frankel offers customization of existing bridal gown designs from the collection. Many brides are drawn to an existing Danielle Frankel bridal gown but want to adjust specific elements: a different neckline, a change in sleeve length, an alternate fabric, or the addition of lace or embellishment. This is customization of a made-to-order wedding dress, and it differs from a fully custom design. Customization starts with an existing silhouette from the collection and modifies it. Full custom starts from scratch, a completely new design created in collaboration between you and Danielle Frankel. Customization possibilities can be discussed with your stylist during your appointment at either the New York Atelier or the Los Angeles Boutique on Melrose Place.

Can I take photos during my bridal appointment?

Brides are welcome to take photos of themselves during their visit to the Danielle Frankel Atelier for personal use. Danielle Frankel's policy prohibits posting photographs or content captured during your appointment on social media.

Can I book a Danielle Frankel appointment if I don't live near New York or Los Angeles?

Yes, brides are welcome to travel to either the Danielle Frankel New York Atelier in the Garment District or the Los Angeles Boutique on Melrose Place for their bridal appointment. For questions about planning a visit, contact atelier@daniellefrankelstudio.com or call (323) 240-2006. Danielle Frankel wedding dresses are also available through select stockists worldwide.
